Embassy of Belize in Mexico

Embajada de Belice en México

Belize is not only home to the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere but is also home to more than 300,000 warm and friendly Belizeans eager to show you a bit of their culture and the many wonderful historic and natural wonders the country has to offer.

Blessed by nature, Belize has avoided the “mass” tourism found in other parts of the Caribbean. As such, even well-travelled visitors often have very different and remarkably enjoyable experiences when compared to the same activities elsewhere. For example, the natural protection offered by the barrier reef makes Belize ideal for family vacations, calm sailing, and for “almost personalised” scuba diving experiences.

Some of the activities visitors may enjoy include:

  • Bird watching
  • Canoeing
  • Cave tubing
  • Caving
  • Fishing
  • Hiking
  • Horseback riding
  • Kayaking
  • Sailing
  • Scuba diving
  • Snorkelling
  • Visiting archaeological sites

Mexican nationals do not need a visa to visit Belize though a valid passport is required. Please see the Consular Matters page for further information on travelling to Belize.
